Studied ballet and theatrical dance from a young age. Personal trainer for 12+ years
Zahara (Tabetha) studied belly dancing for 18+yrs and has attended training with Belysssa, Liza Laziza, Tito and Kazafy, Randa Kamel, Hossam Abdelghany, Farida Fahmy (to name a few) all from Egypt, Jillina Carlino (Bellydance Evolution) Ozgen (Turkish Romany International sensation) Rose Ottiviano and many more.

Melissa Galea
Melissa has always loved to dance, but developed a particular passion for Egyptian Oriental in 2010. Since then she has been on a journey of artistic, cultural and self-discovery, under the guidance of one of Australia's most skilled and creative teachers, Zahara (Tabetha Vagliviello). As a member of Zahara Dance Company, Melissa has had the opportunity to perform interstate and throughout Western Australia, in large stage productions as well as for community events. Melissa loves entertaining an audience, but stays for the sisterhood that she enjoys with ZDC.
Ann Southall
Ann began her dance journey in 2010, having never danced before. She takes every opportunity to improve her dancing, attending regular classes with Zahara (Tabetha Vagliviello) as well as participating in workshops with visiting dancers from around the world.
Ann has performed, as part of Zahara Dance Company, at many fairs and festivals around Perth, and in the Perth Fringe in 2018 and 2019.
She has participated in choreographies of various styles, but most enjoys the folkloric styles for their earthiness and community feel.

Sharon Kuipers-Chan
Sharon has been belly dancing since 2006. Her belly dance education started with classical Egyptian and cabaret style with Raqs Zahara Dance Troupe. Enjoying participating in many classical Egyptian,Turkish, Greek, traditional and even modern Fusion performances with Zahara Dance Company since its inception in 2014. Highlights have been regular performances in WAMED Perth, Oz Concert, Eid Festival, Sydney, Fringe Festival, many local community events and country town performances. She is always looking to expand her knowledge about the dance through different styles and is a forever student of this art form.
Tine Kent
Tine began her belly dance journey with Tabetha (Zahara) in 2006, and has been with the Zahara Dance Company since then. She has experience with large stage performances and theatrical dance, as well as performing for cultural events, festivals, and weddings. While her dance style is Classical Egyptian, she has been known to explore Gothic belly dance (Raqs Gothic) and other fusion styles. Tine is known for her love of Taqsim, Tarab, and any music that is slow and soulful.
